Gediminas Lithuanian School

Gediminas Lithuanian School thanks the Lithuanian Foundation for their annual support of the school. Over the past ten years, the Lithuanian Foundation has given over $700,000 purely for the support of Lithuanian schools operating in the United States. Currently there are over 30 such schools. The Gediminas Lithuanian school, operating in Illinois, celebrated their 9th year of operation. Here, not just children but their parents as well as grandparents. For two years in a row, the school offers Lithuanian language classes for adults as well as the English language. The school’s principal is Violeta Rutkauskiene.
