The Lithuanian Foundation presents the 2013 LAUNA basketball tournament trophy and a monetary prize to Lithuanian school “Rasa”
Throughout the past eight years the Lithuanian Foundation has awarded a trophy to the winners of the Lithuanian Athletic Union of North America (LAUNA) Class “A” Mens Basketball Tournament as well as a thousand dollar donation to their chosen Lithuanian school in the United States. This year, the winner of the May 3rd-5th LAUNA Basketball Tournament in Lemont, IL was Chicago “Atletas”. Lithuanian Foundation chairman Marius Kasniunas presented the 2013 Lithuanian Foundation trophy to “Atletas”. The players of “Atletas” decided to award the cash prize to Lithuanian School “Rasa” in Naperville, IL. Congratulations to Lithuanian School “Rasa” as well as to the winners of this years class “A” LAUNA Basketball Tournament, “Atletas”!
