The Lithuanian Foundation cordially invites its members, grantees, and supporters to an event at Mana Contemporary Chicago (2233 South Throop St., Chicago, IL 60608) on November 4, 2023.

Attendees will be able to view the ongoing exhibition Jonas Mekas, Open Archives, dedicated to Jonas Mekas (1924-2019), a Lithuanian-born American filmmaker, artist and curator, and the godfather of American avant-garde film.

The evening program will include a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception, guided tours with an exhibition curator, Mekas film screenings, musical entertainment, a raffle and mingling with Lithuanian foundation members and supporters.
