The Dr. Jonas and Dr. Terri Prunskis matching gift drive

As was announced earlier, the Lithuanian Foundation was contacted by The Lithuanian Parliament – World Lithuanian Community Commission Chairman, Honorary Consul General of Lithuania in Aspen Dr. Jonas and his wife Dr. Terri Prunskis who offered the Lithuanian foundation the The Drs. Jonas and Terri Prunskis matching gift drive.

The offer was up to $50,000, matching gift on a one-for-one basis between Oct 11 and Dec. 25, 2013. To meet the matching gift criteria, the donation had to be by a new member or existing member for an amount that exceeds their donations made in 2012.

At the close of the drive, Drs. Jonas and Terri Prunskis Funds have made their matching gift donation of $30,000. This amount will be used to set up two special purpose funds administered by the Lithuanian foundation. The earnings of these funds will be distributed annually according to the specified purpose  of the funds.
